TOPIC: NS2 MolCom simulator

NS2 MolCom simulator 7 years 11 months ago #25

NanoNS is an example of Molcom simulator based on NS-2. It is a diffusive molecular communication simulation. In NanoNS, information is encoded in terms of the molecule concentration and nano nodes are modeled as as spheres. The network stack has been implemented by creating classes inherited from the NS-2 structure. NanoNode is a class which implements specific functions as releasing-binding carrier molecules on a molecular channel consisting of an aqueous environment A Nanonode instance is created in a lattice space by a volume occupation facility. Furthermore, The class MolecularData is based on the Packet class of NS-2 and inherits from the Event class. It allows network components to communicate.
